The 2nd Annual LDHI Humankindness and Health Justice Virtual Summit will be a convening of national thought leaders to share insights, best practices and more about how the science of kindness, compassion, empathy and trust can accelerate health justice.

About the Institute

The Lloyd H. Dean Institute for Humankindness and Health Justice (LHDI) was launched in 2022 to help amplify our belief that health justice starts with humankindness.

CommonSpirit defines humankindness as inspiring change in health care that leads to more empathy, listening and respect – because we believe that humanity holds the power to heal. LDHI serves as a convener and catalyst for health justice and humankindness initiatives, across our ministry and beyond.
