APRIL 17, 2020 – LOS ANGELES – Today California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the creation of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Business & Jobs Recovery. CommonSpirit CEO Lloyd H. Dean was invited to join other state leaders on the Council.

Dean shared the following statement regarding his participation on the Council:

“California’s leadership through this crisis has saved lives. Now our state can lead a recovery that gets us back to work, puts our health first, and doesn’t leave anyone behind. I want to thank Governor Newsom for his leadership, and I’m proud to join the Governor’s Advisory Council on Business & Jobs Recovery. We will be a voice on behalf of our patients, our employees and our communities as we work alongside our state partners and other health and business leaders to move California forward.”
