Our investigators are innovators
Our investigators and research teams are the foundation of our clinical research enterprise. The CommonSpirit Health Research Institute is a vested participant in the processes of research and innovation designed to have a significant impact on health outcomes across the many communities we serve.
Our 1000+ active clinical trials and research protocols represents a significant opportunity to our physicians and health sciences professionals that wish to engage in clinical trials and pilot innovations in care delivery. We celebrate our research communities, network with peers, and collaborate on shaping CommonSpirit’s research mission and vision across the enterprise.

How can I become an investigator?
CommonSpirit requires that principal investigators for biomedical, data and other research endeavors are either a CommonSpirit medical staff member or a CommonSpirit employee qualified to act in such a role.
Medical residents at CommonSpirit teaching facilities may act as principal investigators provided they have an appropriate physician mentor who is also an active member of the medical staff at a CommonSpirit teaching facility.
Health sciences students may act as principal investigators provided they are a current CommonSpirit employee and have an appropriate CommonSpirit department director and/or CommonSpirit physician mentor overseeing their research project. For further questions contact us today.
