Elizabeth Shih

Elizabeth’s accountabilities include supporting Chief Executive Officer Wright L. Lassiter, III, Chief Operations Officer Marvin O’Quinn, and other senior leadership in specific efforts. She has direct oversight of enterprise project management; performance excellence; meeting and event planning; administration of system offices; safety, security and emergency preparedness; and sponsorship and governance in partnership with the General Counsel. She joined Dignity Health in 2001 and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, as well as Special Assistant to the CEO. Before joining Dignity Health, she was Executive Vice President of Operations for the Western Division of Sutter Health. Elizabeth’s service on the boards of community health organizations includes the Alzheimer’s Association of Northern California and Northern Nevada, the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. She received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas, Austin.
