Anjeet Saini, MD

Anjeet K. Saini, MD was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada and completed her undergraduate degree with a Double Honors Majors in Biology and Medical Sciences and University of Western Ontario. She then studied in St. Kitts and Nevis at the Medical University of the Americas with Academic Honors. She completed medical school rotations in both USA and Canada. Dr. Saini completed Internal Medicine training in New York City at Mount Sinai West and Morningside (formerly St Lukes-Roosevelt) and further her training with a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. After her postgraduate training, Dr. Saini worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo while she taught medical students, residents, and geriatric fellows. She provided care in multiple settings including inpatient medicine, geriatric consultation, medicine co-management and subacute rehab.She then transitioned to outpatient medicine in San Luis Obispo where she provides Internal Medicine and Geriatric care to the community. Anjeet Saini, MD is an internal medicine and geriatric specialist who provides unique care to all adults. Geriatic medicine focuses on physical, mental, social and economical health of older adults. Dr Saini is an expert in multi-complex medical conditions and helps patients manage and cope with their debilitating conditions. Older adults may have multisystem conditions that include functional decline, cognitive issues, hearing and vision impairments and mood disorders. My goal is to help patients and families navigate getting older and provide optimal medical care and provide guidance for their future.
