Arjun Chandrasekaran, MD

I became a doctor because I wanted my life to be lived in the service of other people. I became a surgeon because I enjoy a pursuit of excellence, and I feel rewarded when my patients feel better. Personal Interests and Hobbies: I enjoy running slowly, skiing poorly, dogs, nature, camping, kayaking, fishing, piano, guitar, and traveling. I am advanced SCUBA certified, and recently enrolled in a flight school.

I became a doctor to be given the opportunity to look into another person's eyes and try to help them. I never forget how I have felt when I have been a patient or a family member of a patient, and I want everyone to have as positive an experience as possible during what may be a very difficult time.Lastly, I believe that whatever we do, it must be beautiful; if it is beautiful, it always works.
