Ashley Wells, NP

As a new Nurse Practitioner entering Primary Care, I am passionate about preventative medicine and health promotion. I wish to empower my patients to take an active role in their healthcare journey, with collaboration and mutual respect and trust. I am committed to staying abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare and dedicated to delivering evidence-based practice with a focus on holistic wellness. I have a deep-seated belief in the importance of advocacy and patient education and strive to make a positive impact on the lives I will be serving in my community. I embarked on my nursing career journey at a local emergency room in downtown Jacksonville, Florida in 2010 at the young age of 22 after graduating with my bachelor’s degree in nursing. With a passion for adventure and learning, I transitioned into travel nursing, shortly finding myself in Santa Maria at Marian Regional Medical Center Emergency Room in 2013. I made the ultimate and hard decision to settle in the central coast, miles away from my East Coast roots. Not even one month after my decision, I met my now-husband of 7 years. Together, we have built a blended family of four children, ranging from 19 years old to our youngest at 2 years old. I spent 10 years at MMC ER when I transitioned into my role as a Nurse Practitioner in 2023. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and fostering wellness, all while balancing my professional life with my cherished family time. I find joy in snuggling on the couch with all 4 children, my husband, and our three dogs to any Marvel movie. I also relish in our weekly trips to Pismo Beach, soaking up the sun and digging my toes into the warm sand. I am excited to continue to serve the community of the Central Coast in my practice as a nurse practitioner.
