Dr. Avital Perry is a board-certified neurosurgeon with additional fellowship training in skull base oncology and a deep commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Specializing in the treatment of complex cranial and skull base disorders via open and minimally invasive approaches, as well as spine and peripheral nerve disorders, Dr. Perry blends advanced surgical expertise with a holistic, empathetic approach to each patient’s unique journey. Dr. Perry earned a medical degree from the prestigious Yale School of Medicine and went on to complete internship, residency, and advanced fellowship training in neurosurgical skull base oncology at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. This comprehensive training has equipped her with the skills to address a wide spectrum of neurosurgical conditions using both open and minimally invasive techniques. A prolific academic contributor, Dr. Perry has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters. She has received numerous accolades for scholarly excellence, including the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumors Award, the Resident Scholarly Achievement Award, and multiple honors for abstracts, presentations, and posters at leading neurosurgical conferences. Dr. Perry has also held several leadership positions, including Director of Risk Management for Neurosurgery, Executive Committee Member for Human Experience, and Surgical Specialty Liaison to the School of Graduate Medical Studies.
