Ayla Senay, MD

Care philosophy: As a general surgeon, specializing in foregut and hernia surgery, I am committed to delivering compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based care to achieve optimal outcomes for my patients. I use minimally invasive and robotic techniques to promote safe surgery, faster recovery, and improved comfort. I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, and I value shared decision-making and personalized treatment plans that honor each patients values, goals, and quality of life. My purpose is not only to treat disease but to help patients return to the lives and activities that matter most to them. Why I became a medical provider: I became a medical provider to help people heal and live healthier, fuller lives. Surgery allows me to pair technical skills with scientific rigor and clear communication. Additionally, it is a privilege to be able to get to know my patients, earn their trust, and continue to work with them throughout the treatment process - from the first clinic visit to the postoperative recovery and on.
