Brandon R Peters-Mathews, MD

Brandon Peters-Mathews, MD, is a board-certified neurologist specializing in sleep disorders who sees adults and children. He treats sleep conditions that can impact health as well as well-being, such as sleep apnea, insomnia, circadian disorders like delayed sleep phase syndrome, restless legs syndrome, sleep behaviors (parasomnia), narcolepsy, and hypersomnia. He has been trained in using cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBTI), which is a way to manage insomnia without the use of medications. He is the author of Sleep Through Insomnia.

Dr. Peters-Mathews enjoys sleep medicine because he can work to identify root causes and most sleep conditions are treatable, allowing him to get patients back to sleeping better quickly. He also likes educating patients on how sleep conditions not only can impact their day-to-day life but also their long-term health.

Away from work, Dr. Peters-Mathews enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, writing, listening to audiobooks, and advancing high-tech sleep devices and services as a consultant.
