Dr. C. Kent Osborne is an oncologist specializing in breast oncology. He is a Professor of Medicine - Hematology and Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM), where he is the Dudley and Tina Sharp Chair for Cancer Research at BCM and a Founding Director of the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is also a Breast Medical Oncologist at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center.
Dr. Osborne’s clinical interests include: diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer; biology of breast cancer; resistance to ER and HER2-targeted therapies in breast cancer; and breast disease and cancer.
Dr. Osborne received an A.B. in Zoology from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri and his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and a fellowship in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Osborne is board-certified in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
