Christina Paruthi, MD

Dr. Paruthi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained physician at Vintage Cardiology in Houston. She specializes in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease and performing non-invasive cardiology procedures. She is certified in cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. Dr. Paruthi offers personalized, thoughtful cardiologic care to all of her patients in Northwest Houston.

A born-and-raised Texan, Dr. Paruthi completed medical school at St. George's University School of Medicine. She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Following this, she returned to Texas, completing a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in the Texas Medical Center. She further advanced her expertise with an additional year of fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant at the same institution.

Dr. Paruthi’s philosophy centers on providing each patient with meticulous and compassionate cardiac care. She believes in building meaningful relationships with those she serves, ensuring that every individual receives a tailored approach to their heart health, reflecting CommonSpirit’s values of Compassion and Inclusion. Her dedication extends to preventive cardiology, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia management, valvular heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, dyslipidemias, and cardiac rehabilitation services.
