I believe in a patient centered approach to care. I strive to treat every patient with compassion and respect, recognizing their individual circumstances and needs and not just their diagnosis. Working with them is essential to providing the best, most successful care. I was always drawn to human physiology and anatomy. Merging that with a deep interest in helping others and contributing to my community led me to a career in medicine. I chose surgery because I find it humbling yet rewarding to be able to cure and correct conditions in such a definitive and impactful way.
