Denise Cummings, ARNP

Denise Cummings, ARNP, specializes in breast health, women's wellness, genetic counseling and hereditary cancer risk assessment. She evaluates women with breast concerns within a relaxing environment that supports the development of a therapeutic partnership between herself and her patient.

Most of the patients Denise sees are concerned about a breast lump, breast pain or a skin change. Other visits are filled with women who have been found to be at high risk for breast cancer, as well as follow-up for those with a breast cancer diagnosis. What she loves most about her job is her ability to calm another person’s anxiety through attentive, comforting care. A part of this includes offering the latest technology in breast imaging, including 3D mammography and breast MRIs.

Denise served in the United States Air Force as a flight nurse during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as traveling, gardening, crafting and reading.
