Donald John Lao, DO

Donald Lao, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon at CommonSpirit Orthopedics Audubon. He believes in partnering with his patients to make decisions together about the best care for their individual needs. Dr. Lao is committed to providing personalized and comprehensive orthopedic care. Dr. Lao earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lewis-Clark State College. He then attended A.T. Still University for medical school and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Kansas City University. Furthering his expertise, he completed a hip and knee replacement and orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Outside of his practice, Dr. Lao enjoys sports, spending time with his family, and spending time outdoors.
