Emily Nessen, PA

Emily Nessen is a Physician Assistant in Cardiology. Originally from Denver, Colorado and relocated to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly. There she studied Biology and fell in love with the Central Coast. She attended PA school locally at ATSU in Santa Maria, and completed her clinical rotations in New Orleans. Prior to joining Coastal Cardiology, she worked in the Emergency Room. Emily strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to take an active role in their health. She prioritizes education, preventative strategies, and individualized treatment plans to improve not only cardiovascular health, but improve overall well being.
