Dr. Gregory A. Tovmassian was born in Russia after his parents moved there from Armenia. His family immigrated to Sacramento in the mid-1990s, where Dr. Tovmassian graduated from Mira Loma High School. He then went on to receive a degree in science prior to being accepted to the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California.After completing the four year program, he graduated and was accepted to his the residency program at Kaiser Santa Clara (California). There he received training in foot and ankle surgery with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle privileges. After completing his training he moved back to the Sacramento area and opened Sacramento Foot and Ankle Center in Fair Oaks, where he enjoys using his knowledge and skills to serve the community he grew up in.Also, Dr. Tovmassian is involved in clinical research, actively participating in clinical trials in wound care and other foot and ankle related research.He is a member of numerous professional associations such as American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA).
My personal goal is to help as many members of the community as possible through the opportunity I am fortunate to have after completing my training and returning back to my home community.
