As a Nurse Practitioner in cardiology, I am committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to actively participate in managing their cardiovascular health. I believe that applying specialized clinical knowledge in a compassionate and collaborative manner enables patients to make informed decisions and achieve their personal health goals. My role is to educate, support, and guide each patient—recognizing that optimal heart health is best attained when care plans align with their unique values, lifestyles, and long-term aspirations. Through trust, respect, and ongoing partnership, I aim to improve both quality of life and clinical outcomes. With over a decade of hands-on experience in advanced cardiovascular care, Joe brings a deep commitment to improving heart health across diverse communities. He began his career as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse, where he spent seven years supporting patients through complex open- heart surgery recoveries and earned national certifications in Critical Care and Cardiothoracic Surgery (CCRN, CSC). As a Nurse Practitioner, Joe has contributed to high-performing Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery programs at leading institutions including Kaweah Health and Stanford Health. He later served as Director of Cardiovascular Services for Adventist Health, where he oversaw Cardiology Services for four rural hospitals in California’s Central Valley and successfully led the launch of a new state-of-the-art Cath Lab in Tulare, CA. Joe’s clinical expertise, leadership experience, and patient-first approach make him a trusted partner in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care that transforms lives.
