Dr. Kainat Pasha is a board-certified family medicine physician providing comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered care in Sugar Land, Texas. She earned her bachelor of science in biology with honors from the University of Houston and received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. Dr. Pasha’s dedication to excellence was recognized when she received the Outstanding Medical Student Award in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She is committed to delivering humankindness at every touchpoint, ensuring integrated and holistic care experiences for the people she serves.
Dr. Pasha has been refining her practice since 2022, focusing on evidence-based medicine, preventative care, and long-term health promotion. Her clinical interests include obesity medicine, women’s health, chronic disease management, and caring for diverse and underserved populations, working diligently to remove barriers to fair and just healthcare opportunities. She performs in-office procedures including joint injections, IUD and Nexplanon placement/removal, Pap smears, endometrial biopsies, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and toenail removals.
The most rewarding part of being a physician for Dr. Pasha is building meaningful relationships with her patients and supporting them through all stages of life. She deeply values the opportunity to directly help others, whether by preventing illness, managing chronic conditions, or guiding patients through complex health decisions. Dr. Pasha finds fulfillment in empowering patients to take an active role in their health journey, reflecting CommonSpirit Health’s mission to improve health, advance social justice for all, and make the healing presence of God known in our world.
Dr. Pasha believes in a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care, rooted in education, prevention, and shared decision-making. She strives to create a safe and welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and informed. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Academy of Family Physicians. Outside of medicine, Dr. Pasha enjoys staying active with Pilates and yoga, and expresses her creativity through painting and gardening, all while cherishing time with her friends and family. Dr. Pasha is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, and is learning Spanish, enabling her to serve a broad and diverse patient community.
