Katherine Thorson, MD

Katherine Thorson, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training and experience in colorectal surgery. Dr. Thorson became a surgeon to help people, and she loves being able to do that every day. She strives to make her patients as comfortable as possible and takes the time to get to know them so she can develop treatment plans that works best with their lifestyle. This involves a shared discussion with open communication to ensure every patient understands the next steps and goals.

Dr. Thorson is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and American College of Surgeons.

Away from work, Dr. Thorson loves to stay active, hike, travel and read.
