Keenan Onodera, MD

Dr. Keenan Onodera, MD, is an Orthopedic Trauma surgeon at Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. He often meets people on the worst days of their lives and his goal is to help inform them and their families about the injuries they are dealing with and the best path moving forward, with the ultimate aim of restoring hope after their trauma. He utilizes the most recent literature and best practices to create a care plan in collaboration with his patients, ultimately striving to maximize function after injury and help his patients return to their lives. Dr. Onodera earned BAs in Biology and Psychology, along with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Redlands, where he also played football. He received his medical degree from UC San Diego, where he also completed his Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. He then pursued an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Denver Health. Outside of his practice, Dr. Onodera enjoys enduro riding, mountain biking, wake surfing, snowboarding, hunting, fishing, and cooking.
