Lauren Haggerty, MD

Lauren Haggerty, MD, is a nephrologist specializing in acute and chronic kidney disease, dialysis and electrolyte disorders. Dr. Haggerty treats the whole person. She seeks to understand her patients’ concerns and preferences so she can align treatment plans with their goals, both in terms of their kidney health as well as their overall well-being. She cares deeply about fostering long-term relationships with her patients and is committed to health equity.

Dr. Haggerty is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American College of Physicians. She completed the University of Washington Teaching Scholars Program in 2022 2023, designed to promote excellence in medical education, and was recipient of the Karen L. Campbell grant from the American Society of Nephrology in 2023, for near-peer mentorship in nephrology.

Away from work, Dr. Haggerty enjoys pickleball, yoga, hiking, and cooking with family and friends.
