Dr Lim is married with two children. In her free time, she volunteers at Samaritan House Free Clinic in San Mateo and in her daughter's classroom. She enjoys rollerblading, mountain biking, appreciating her husband's excellent culinary talents, and making balloon animals for her daughter and toddler son (a skill she chanced upon following a harrowing experience in which she unintentionally popped her then 2 year old daughter's blue balloon dog with disastrous consequences).
