Nicholas (Nick) Bird, MD

Nicholas Bird, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Hyperbaric Medicine physician, with a primary board-certification in family medicine. Dr. Bird delivers superior patient-focused treatment, utilizing a collaborative, evidence-based approach.

Dr. Bird began his training in hyperbaric medicine while serving in the US Air Force and has remained active in the field both clinically as well as through service through the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), where he has held multiple roles including the presidency. Dr. Bird is a passionate educator, welcoming every opportunity to share his knowledge with his patients and the medical and recreational diving communities.

Dr. Bird is a fellow of the UHMS (FUHM) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP). He was recognized with the Excellence in Diving Medicine award by the UHMS in 2021. He is certified as both a UHMS Examiner of Divers and a FAA Aviation Medical Examiner.
