Nicole Caton, DO

Dr. Caton is a board-certified family medicine physician who earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the UNT Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Jackson, TN. With a Master of Science in Public Health from UNT Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, Dr. Caton brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to patient care. Before joining our team, Dr. Caton practiced full-spectrum family medicine in Harrison, Arkansas. She made the decision to return to Tennessee to prioritize spending more time with her family, a testament to her dedication to both her professional and personal life. The most rewarding part of being a physician for Dr. Caton is the honor and privilege of being trusted to care for individuals during what can be vulnerable stages of their lives. Her patient care philosophy centers on empowering patients by helping them understand their health conditions and working collaboratively to align medical recommendations with their personal goals. This "whole person" approach emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and comprehensive care for acute and chronic illnesses. Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Caton's primary passion is spending time with her family. While she previously enjoyed hobbies such as crochet, knitting, quilting, and reading, she hopes to re-engage with her community by getting involved with a local church and a pregnancy help center in her new Tennessee home.
