Dr. Hsu received his medical degree from the University of Wales, College of Medicine, the United Kingdom, in 1985. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Dr. Hsu received his G.I. Fellowship and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Training at the University of California, Davis Medical Center (UCDMC). He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Hsu has been in practice since 1989 and has been with Capitol G.I. since 2000. He served as Director of Endoscopy, G.I. Fellowship Training Program at UCDMC, and appointed Clinical Professor of Medicine since 2007. He is the current Governor of Northern California, American College of Gastroenterology and Co-Chair, CMAC of Northern California, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. He has special interests in Barrett's Endoscopic Therapies, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, Colon Cancer Prevention, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Intestinal Microbiome, and Fecal Microbiota Transplantation. Dr. Hsu sees patients in our Roseville office.
