Ryan Friesen, PT, DPT

Ryan was born in Kansas and earned an Associate’s Degree from Hesston College and Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University before attending Creighton University where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2001. He acquired a competency in vestibular rehabilitation in 2007 in Atlanta from the APTA and became certified in LSVT Big for Parkinson’s Disease in 2013. Ryan enjoys seeing how therapy can help patients meet their movement goals. Balance, gait, posture, and strengthening are some of his main impairment interests. He also works with inner ear balance and vertigo challenges and stiffness and shuffling from Parkinson’s. He has been employed at Lakeside since 2002. He enjoys time with his wife and family, time with his church community, coaching his children’s teams, and outdoor and traveling adventures.
