Susan (Callie) Calhoun, DPT

Callie Calhoun, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist with two degrees in field. Callie is most experienced in orthopedics, with special interest in postoperative care and foot and ankle pain. She also treats weakness, vertigo, and balance deficits. Holistic and hands-on, she frequently utilizes taping, Mulligan techniques and manual interventions in addition to exercise prescription.

Callie believes successful intervention most often occurs when a client-provider partnership exists that empowers patients for their recoveries. One of her favorite sayings in physical therapy is: "If I treat you, I help you today but if I teach you, I help you for a lifetime." She is committed to individualized treatments that fit each patient's lifestyle.

Callie was recipient of a Spirit of Magnet Evidence-Based Quality Practitioner Award in 2019 from Baptist Health System Nassau. She serves as an adjunct professor in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland.

In her spare time, Callie enjoys running, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
