Dr. O?Malley joined Gross Iwersen Kratochvil and Klein in July of 1991. His fellowship training gives him an extensive background in sports medicine as well as adult reconstruction. Initially solely a sports medicine physician his practice over the years has broadened and now includes knee replacements both partial and total.
Dr. O?Malley attended Christian Brothers College in Memphis Tennessee for his undergraduate education. He then went to medical school at the University Of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. His internship and residency were performed at the combined Creighton University/University of Nebraska Orthopedic Residency. He followed this with a fellowship in sports medicine and adult reconstruction at the University of Texas-Houston. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has a certificate and added qualifications for sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
In the past he has served on Creighton University?s medical staff as an adjunct professor lecturing medical students on knee injuries. He is on the Board at Midwest Surgical Hospital.
