Taeyong Sim, MD

Taeyong Sim, MD, is a board-certified infectious disease physician who manages a broad spectrum of complex infectious diseases, from acute diagnostic challenges to long-term management, with an equally strong emphasis on infection prevention. He has expertise in sepsis, bacteremia and joint infections.

Understanding how overwhelming and frightening a complex infection can be, Dr. Sim strives to partner with patients during these vulnerable times, and to take the time to explain complex medical situations in clear, understandable terms.

Dr. Sim is a member of the American Medical Informatics Association, Korean Medical Association and Infectious Disease Society of America.

Away from work, Dr. Sim enjoys Taekwondo (Black Belt) and CrossFit.
