Thomas Rehder, DO

Dr. Thomas Rehder grew up on the Central Coast of California and graduated from St. Joseph High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from UC Merced before pursuing his medical education at Pacific Northwest University. Dr. Rehder completed his residency in Family Medicine at Marian Regional Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at MemorialCare in Long Beach, California. During his fellowship, he cared for athletes from Long Beach State, Biola University, and Cypress College, and provided medical coverage for the Summer X Games in Ventura. He is currently the head team physician for Allan Hancock College. Passionate about giving back to his community, Dr. Rehder has returned to Santa Maria to join the faculty at the Marian Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency program. His professional interests include sports medicine, preventive care, and mentoring the next generation of physicians. Outside of medicine, Dr. Rehder enjoys hiking, kayaking, golfing, and playing video games. He is also an avid fan of horror and Sci-Fi movies.
