Vitas Wagner, MD, PhD

Vitas Wagner, MD, PhD, is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in colorectal surgery. Dr. Wagner believes every patient deserves compassionately delivered comprehensive health care. He is committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care that addresses not only the disease, but also empowers patients to better understand and participate in their health care.

Dr. Wagner earned his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis studying the interaction of the gut microbiota and diet in childhood undernutrition, which sparked his interest in colorectal pathology.

Outside the clinic and operating room he enjoys adventuring around the Pacific Northwest on the trail, slopes, and water with his wife and two children.
