Dr. Steinkohl attended University at Buffalo, S.U.N.Y., where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degrees in biology as well as psychology. He then continued his education at Roswell Park Memorial Institute and later received his Doctor of Medicine from Albany Medical College. Dr. Steinkohl continued his training as a resident in urology at Albany Medical Center Hospital and was Chief Resident during his last year there. After serving his residency, Dr. Steinkohl worked as a fellow in urodynamics, female urology, incontinence and prosthetics at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.Dr. Steinkohl is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
