My goal is to provide comprehensive, empathetic care that helps patients navigate their health journey with confidence and support.​"~ Zachary Spalding, MD Dr. Spalding is a dedicated OBGYN who was born in San Luis Obispo, where he graduatedfrom San Luis Obispo High School. After earning his degree in mechanical engineering fromCal Poly San Luis Obispo, Dr. Spalding worked in the engineering field before pursuing hispassion for medicine. He attended medical school in Pennsylvania and completed hisOBGYN residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he receivedcomprehensive training in both obstetrics and gynecology. After finishing his residency, Dr. Spalding returned to his hometown of San Luis Obispo to provide exceptional care to thecommunity. With a unique background blending engineering and medicine, he brings athoughtful, patient-centered approach to his practice. Dr. Spalding enjoys spending his personal time hiking, mountain biking, and cooking with his partner, Stephanie, whom he met at Cal Poly. He also likes to work on his family’s ranch, where he appreciates the opportunity to connect with nature and unwind.
