Zeinab Birjandian, MD

Zeinab Birjandian, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with a dedicated subspecialty focus on neuromuscular disorders, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), neuropathies, and myopathies. Her clinical and academic interests center on providing comprehensive, evidence-based care guided by the latest advances in neurology and patient-centered medicine.

Dr. Birjandian believes that effective care extends beyond treatment. Building a trustworthy and compassionate relationship with each patient is fundamental to her approach. Even when faced with conditions that are not currently curable, she is committed to offering empathy, honesty, and steadfast support to help patients and their families navigate their journey with dignity and hope.

Away from work, Dr. Birjandian enjoys reading, bicycling, hiking and exploring new cuisines.
