CHI Memorial Chapel Dedicated as St. Anne’s Frost Family Chapel

CHI Memorial dedicates St. Anne’s Frost Family Chapel in Chattanooga, made possible by a $2M gift from the Frost family, enriching community health and well-being.

CHATTANOOGA, TN – CHI Memorial is proud to announce the dedication of its St. Anne’s Frost Family Chapel at its Chattanooga campus.  The dedication follows a generous $2 million gift from the Jack and Charlotte Frost Family Foundation to the CHI Memorial Foundation’s Invest in the Best capital campaign.  This significant contribution, made in memory of Jack and Charlotte Frost, will have a profound and lasting impact on the health and well-being of the greater Chattanooga community.

“It is our hope and our prayer that this sacred place in the hospital will continue to be a source of comfort and blessing to those who spend time there now, and for many years to come,” shared Steve Frost, Frost Family Foundation Board Chair.

The $2 million gift is designated to enhance vital services at CHI Memorial.  In addition to naming the chapel, the funds established an endowment for a dedicated chaplain staff position within the hospital’s emergency department, ensuring readily available spiritual and emotional support for patients and families during times of crisis.  The contribution will also enhance cardiac and oncology services, directly benefiting countless individuals reliant on these critical patient care areas.

“We are deeply grateful to the Jack and Charlotte Frost Family Foundation for this gift,” said Jennifer Nicely, CHI Memorial Foundation president.  “Their generosity will enable CHI Memorial to continue its vital work of providing exceptional health care and spiritual support to the Chattanooga community.”
