Community Invited to Free Lunch & Learn on Cancer Prevention and Screening With Flaget Memorial Hospital

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (May 5, 2025) — Flaget Memorial Hospital invites community members to a free Lunch and Learn event focused on cancer prevention and screening, along with information on the wide range of services available at the Saint Joseph Health – Cancer Center at Flaget.

The event will take place on Tuesday, May 20, at noon at the Bardstown Country Club, 130 Maywood Ave., Bardstown, KY 40004.

Attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch while learning about proactive steps for cancer prevention and early detection. The session will also spotlight key services offered through the Flaget Cancer Center, including the High-Risk Breast Clinic, designed to support individuals at increased risk of breast cancer.

About Flaget Memorial Hospital

Flaget Memorial Hospital, part of Saint Joseph Health, is a 52-bed facility located in Bardstown, Kentucky. Established in 1951 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, the facility serves residents of Nelson, Hardin, Marion, Washington, Spencer, Bullitt and LaRue counties. The facility is also home to Nelson County’s first full-service cancer center and is nationally recognized for orthopedic and surgical care, as well as inpatient satisfaction.
