LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 29, 2025) – Saint Joseph Health, which serves communities across central and eastern Kentucky, is pleased to announce a new multiyear agreement with health insurance provider United Healthcare. The renewal agreement will allow patients with coverage through UnitedHealthcare to maintain in-network access to all Saint Joseph Health services across existing contracted products, including Medicare Advantage.
Saint Joseph Health worked with United to reach an agreement, with the end goal to ensure that they could continue to meet the needs of Kentucky patients today and in the future.

The agreement allows Saint Joseph Health to continue its mission of delivering quality, affordable health care to patients today and for generations to come at its primary care, specialty clinics, hospitals, home health, rehabilitation and surgery centers across the state. Saint Joseph Health has hospitals in Bardstown, Berea, Lexington, London, Mount Sterling and Nicholasville, and clinics and physician offices in 20 counties in central and eastern Kentucky.
