Saint Joseph London to Offer Free Sports Physicals at Local High

LONDON, Ky. (May 8, 2025) – Saint Joseph London is partnering with local health care providers to offer free sports physicals for student-athletes at South Laurel and North Laurel high schools. This initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Kevin Magone, orthopedic specialist at Saint Joseph London, is part of the hospital’s ongoing commitment to support youth wellness and community health.

These physicals are provided at no cost to students and are conducted by a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals from Saint Joseph London, including providers from primary care, orthopedics, surgery, outpatient therapy and athletic training.

“This program is about more than just a required physical – it’s a chance to support our students’ health and help families prepare for the upcoming sports season,” said Dr. Magone. “We’re proud to partner with our local schools and fellow providers to make this resource accessible to all student-athletes.”
