Saint Joseph Medical Group – Primary CareWelcomes Compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to London Team

Sydni Walden is dedicated to supporting families in her community

LONDON, Ky. (Sept. 5, 2025) –  Saint Joseph Medical Group – Primary Care has recently added Sydni Walden, APRN, to its team, serving patients in London and Corbin. Walden, who spent the past five years of her career in Saint Joseph London’s intensive care unit, says she approaches patient care with an empathetic, compassionate approach, rooted in her passion for supporting others.

“I’ve always loved caring for other people,” said Walden. “Nursing has given me the chance to do that in a meaningful way. It allows me to be a safe place for patients and help them become the best versions of themselves.”

As both a provider and a mother, Walden says she understands the unique fears and uncertainties parents often face when it comes to medical care for their children, and is pleased to begin her practice with pediatric patients included.

“I know the fear and uncertainty,” she said. “I want families to know I will listen to them and be empathetic. I’m not just here to provide medical care – I’m here emotionally as well. My goal is to meet patients where they are in their health care journey, care for them as if they were my own family, and build relationships with them as I watch them grow and celebrate their milestones.

Walden earned her associate degree in nursing from Midway University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of the Cumberlands. She is a certified family nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has a strong clinical foundation in both intensive and primary care for patients of all ages.

She is thrilled to be serving the London-Corbin area.

“This is my community, and I’ve been praying for an opportunity like this to work out,” she said.

Sydni Walden is now accepting pediatric patients at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Primary Care, located at 378 Thompson Poynter Road in London, and primary care patients at 2867 Cumberland Falls Highway in Corbin.  To make an appointment, call 606-877-3990.
