While most St. Luke’s patients will transition from the original CommonSpirit Patient Portal, the following locations will transition from My OneCare to the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal:

St. Luke’s Hospital - San Augustine
This transition brings all our CommonSpirit locations onto one unified platform, which allows you to access your health information from across all our facilities in one place. You’ll also enjoy more efficient tools—including integrated bill pay, easier appointment scheduling, and expanded messaging—to help you better manage your health.
Preparing for the transition depends on if you use the original CommonSpirit Patient Portal:
If you use the original CommonSpirit Patient Portal, no additional action is needed at this time.
If you receive care at a St. Luke’s clinic and haven’t signed up for the original CommonSpirit Patient Portal, visit the patient portal to create an account now. Setting up your account now ensures a smoother transition when we launch the enhanced portal on October 31, giving you uninterrupted access to your health information online.
If you use My OneCare and don’t receive care at a St. Luke’s clinic, no additional action is needed. After October 31, you will need to create a new account with the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal and download the mobile app to continue managing your care.

October: As we transition, some scheduling features may be limited. If you need an appointment after October 31 and aren't seeing availability through your portal, please call your clinic or facility or use CommonSpirit.org.
October 28: The original CommonSpirit Patient Portal will become read-only, and most functionalities will no longer be available. However, you will still be able to view your historical health information and pay bills for care you received before October 31. Your information will transfer to the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal following your next appointment after October 31.
October 28-30: If you need to connect with your care team during this period, please call your clinic or facility.
October 31: To access and manage your health information online you will need to use the enhanced version of the CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App going forward.
If you already use the original CommonSpirit Patient Portal, that’s great! No additional action is needed at this time. Having an original CommonSpirit Patient Portal account will ensure a smoother transition to the enhanced portal and uninterrupted access to your health information.

No. While the patient portal you use to access your health information online is changing, your care is not. You will continue to receive care from the same trusted care team.
No. Your care team is not changing—only the way you access and manage your health information online.
Most of your historical health information will be transferred to the CommonSpirit Patient Portal after your first appointment following the launch on October 31. You can also continue to access your historical health information on your original patient portal for the time being.
New health information occurring on or after October 31, including upcoming appointments, test results and care team messaging will become available in the CommonSpirit Patient Portal and Mobile App after you create an account.
Yes, we take your privacy very seriously. The patient portal uses secure, industry-standard technology to protect your personal health information. Only you and your authorized caregivers can access your account, and all data is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access.
No. You will still be able to view your historical information in your current patient portal for now. Starting October 31, new health information—such as appointments, test results and messages—will appear in the enhanced CommonSpirit Patient Portal.

We don’t expect all our patients to switch to portals immediately. However, we would encourage you to create an account today on the CommonSpirit Patient Portal so you are able to manage your healthcare online.

You can still access your health information and manage your care by contacting your care team's office directly.
