Hangover

Hangover refers to the unpleasant symptoms that develop several hours after a person drinks too much alcohol.

Symptoms may include:

  • Nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain.
  • Headache, tiredness, and irritability.
  • Sweating and thirst.
  • Weakness and shaky hands.

If a person has frequent hangovers, it could be a sign of an alcohol use disorder.
