  1. Sit in a sturdy chair. A chair with arms is best.
  2. Raise both arms straight above your head.
  3. Slowly drop your right arm to the side and lean to the right. Keep your bottom flat on the chair. Feel the stretch in your left side.
  4. Hold for at least 15 seconds and then relax.
  5. Return to your starting position with your arms over your head.
  6. Slowly drop your left arm and lean to the left.
  7. Repeat 2 to 4 times on each side.
