Jordan Weinberg, MD

Jordan Weinberg, MD, is a Faculty Physician with Dignity Health Medical Group in the department of Surgery and Trauma at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Weinberg earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada and from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He then earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He also completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Weinberg has been published extensively for his research, and has taken a special focus on trauma resuscitation and pathophysiology related to transfusion in the trauma setting. He is a reviewer on a number of editorial boards. He is also a member of several professional societies, including the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the American College of Surgeons.
