Kate McKinney, FNP-C

Kate McKinney, FNP-C, nurse practitioner at CHI Memorial Community Health, is passionate about health promotion and providing patients with the knowledge and tools to take control of their well-being. She believes in fostering open communication and shared decision-making. Her goal is to work collaboratively with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that seamlessly integrate with their lifestyle and healthcare needs. Kate's academic journey has provided her with a strong foundation to serve her patients. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL. Prior to that, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. When she's not in the office, Kate can often be found enjoying her passions for traveling and cooking, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family.
