The Madison Hospital Healthcare Council is a group at St. Joseph Madison Hospital focused on improving care for our patients, staff and community. It helps guide how we serve by listening to feedback and making thoughtful improvements to our services.
The Council is built on key principles:
The Council meets regularly to share ideas, provide feedback and help us deliver the highest quality care. Many of their suggestions directly shape how we operate and serve the community.
We offer a wide range of volunteer roles in about 90 different departments. You can help in both clinical and non-clinical areas, depending on your interests and skills. Volunteer shifts are available during the week and on weekends—mornings, afternoons, evenings and even overnight.
When you see a doctor, health care provider or visit a health care facility that is not in your health insurance network, such as in an emergency, you may incur other costs or be responsible for the entire bill.
The No Surprises Act protects consumers who have health coverage through their employer (including federal, state, or local government employers), the Health Insurance Marketplace® or an individual health plan purchased directly from an insurance company.
Use our online ER check-in tool to schedule your arrival time to reduce wait times. Call 911 immediately for life-threatening emergencies.
We take extra care to keep your health information safe. Request your medical records by mail, in person or online.
