Therapy Services at Patients Medical Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services to help patients achieve the highest level of function following surgery, injury or illness. Our team of licensed therapists ensures our patients receive the most current and effective treatments available. Our physical therapist, occupational hand therapist, and speech and language pathologists design and implement rehabilitation programs to meet the individual needs of each patient.

Your physical therapist will evaluate and develop a plan specific to your individual needs.  We also provide functional capacity evaluations (FCE) and conditioning programs to help our patients safely return to work.

Our focus is on improving self-care and work tasks after injury, surgery or conditions affecting the upper extremities.  Our certified hand therapist also treats patients with specialized post-operative protocols and custom splinting required for recovery after advanced surgical procedures.

Our licensed speech-language pathologists treat speech and language deficits, cognitive-communicative deficits, voice disorders and swallowing disorders.  They hold special certifications for swallow therapy with VitalStim® and voice therapy with LSVT® LOUD.

After a thorough assessment, our licensed speech-language pathologist will develop a personalized plan of care.

To make an appointment, call (713) 948-7005. Spanish-speaking staff are available to take your call and care for you in the office. 

A prescription from a physician is necessary to start therapy. Scripts may be faxed to (713) 948-7118. Our office will call the patient upon receiving the prescription or the patient can call (713) 948-7005.
