Women's Health Care

EpicCare Link is a secure, web-based application from Epic that supports communication and care coordination between St. Luke’s Health and its community partners. It allows referring physicians, clinicians and care team members outside of St. Luke’s Health to view patient information stored in our Epic system.

Although not a full electronic medical record (EMR), EpicCare Link offers read-only access with features that help streamline patient care coordination. Typical users include affiliate clinical staff, billing teams, long-term care providers and employees of correctional facilities.

Enroll organization

Step 2: Request site administrator access

After the organization is enrolled, site administrators must submit a site administrator request to be designated for the organization.

The request link has two actions:

  • Requested site administrator completes their portion and forwards the request link to the practice/payer contact. This cannot be the same person as the site administrator.

  • The organization contact completes and submits the request.

Note: Two site administrators per organization are recommended.

Step 3: Submit individual user request

Once the site administrator has been enrolled, individual users can submit an individual user request

The request has two actions:

  • The end user completes their portion and saves the form. This will populate the site administrator's email address into a link. The end user clicks to send the email.

  • The site administrator completes and submits the request.

Submission status

Throughout the process, the requester will receive notifications regarding the approval or denial of the request. For any questions about the process or the status of a request, please email stlukeseclaccess@commonspirit.org.
