Fluorescein angiogram
A fluorescein angiogram produces photographs (not X-rays) of the blood vessels inside the eye. It can be used to observe the structure of abnormal blood vessels under the retina and to detect circulatory and other problems in the eyes.
A dye called fluorescein is injected into the bloodstream. And a camera takes photos that can show if a person has abnormal blood vessels or leaks in the blood vessels of the eyes.
