What is syndactyly repair?
Syndactyly (say "sin-DAK-tuh-ly") is a webbing of the fingers. Sometimes, skin forms this webbing. But webbing can also be formed by bone, blood vessels, and nerves. Syndactyly repair uses surgery to separate the joined fingers. This allows the fingers to develop more naturally. Syndactyly can also affect the toes.
